Kooboom is an AI-powered literacy learning platform developed by Bookworms United Inc., a nonprofit educational organization focused on improving reading engagement and achievement for students. Our mission is to provide teachers and learners with personalized, standards-aligned reading tools that make learning engaging and measurable.

2. Eligibility & Use

To use Kooboom:

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or have verified parental/teacher consent if younger.

  • Teachers, schools, and parents are responsible for ensuring student use complies with local data protection and consent laws (including COPPA and FERPA).

  • You agree to use Kooboom only for lawful educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Accounts & Access

  • To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

  • You agree to keep your login information secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy.

4. Educational Content & AI Tools

Kooboom provides reading lessons (“Kwarks”), videos, quizzes, and AI-powered feedback.

  • We strive for accuracy and educational integrity, but we cannot guarantee all content is error-free.

  • AI-generated materials are for educational purposes only and may evolve as our technology improves.

  • Teachers and schools remain responsible for determining content appropriateness and alignment with their curriculum.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

If you purchase a paid plan or subscription:

  • Fees, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be clearly presented before payment.

  • All payments are processed securely through our third-party providers.

  • Refunds, where applicable, will follow the policies stated at the time of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

All text, images, videos, code, and other content on Kooboom are the property of Kooboom or its content partners.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit our materials without written permission.

  • Teachers and creators who publish lessons on Kooboom retain ownership of their original content but grant Kooboom a limited license to display, promote, and distribute it through the platform.
